Ulvsvåg

Ulvsvåg is a village of about 300 inhabitants, situated along the E6 in the municipality of Hamarøy in Nordland County. Thanks to the short distances to the cities Narvik, Sortland, Svolvær and Bodø

In addition to the facilities associated with the guesthouse and camping site, Ulvsvåg has a convenience store and a car workshop. Nord Salten Kraftlag has its main office in Ulvsvåg. The area in and around Ulvsvåg is among the most beautiful Nordland has to offer. With the Lofoten Wall and the midnight sun in the north, and ideal conditions for both sea fishing, freshwater fishing, and mountain hikes, Ulvsvåg is a great starting point for truly remarkable nature experiences.

From Ulvsvåg Gjestgiveri, you can reach fantastic mountain terrain within minutes, whether you want to hike, ski, or fish at one of the many lakes nearby. Just under two kilometers from the guesthouse, south along the E6, at an altitude of 700 meters, lies Ulvsvågskaret with groomed trails for long and refreshing ski trips well into the spring.

Ulvsvåg’s archipelago is sheltered from the open sea and the Vestfjorden, offering calm waters where even the most inexperienced fishermen or kayakers can venture out without fear of being surprised by rough seas.
